Seth Resnick
Chosen as one of the 30 most influential photographers of the decade by Photo District News Magazine, Seth Resnick is one of North America’s most prolific corporate, editorial and stock photographers. Seth is greatly in demand for his beautiful graphic images in both natural and created light. Resnick has been published in the world’s most prestigious magazines. What was the most significant visual moment in your life?
I did a long term story (20 plus years) on a little girl that was burned. Seeing her and having her smile at me the moment we met with her severely burned faced is a moment that I will never forget and a moment that changed my future.

Eric Heiden winning his 5th gold medal at the Olympics in 1980
What failure did you learn the most from?
Shooting an annual report with a brand new Nikon and having 50 rolls of Kodachrome come out blank.

Creating positive change for other photographers

To create a vision that leaves an impression on others
If you had to do it all over again, what would you change?
I think I would have stopped taking commercial assignments and pursued my own personal visions sooner

I would be a lawyer or an extreme skier or a wine maker

I wake up from a deep sleep and plan things and solve problems. Ironically it is one of my most productive times.

Everything. I love getting up early. Started to answer these questions at 5 AM today 🙂
