I do own the i1 stuff, and, frankly, after reading X-Rite´s explanations of their “new” stuff, I am thoroughly confused. I have no idea what´s new -if anything-, they don´t tell me how much it costs to upgrade, and I am left wondering what´s going on. I have seldom seen a worse marketing and communication campaign for a new product.

Just spoke to X-Rite. It turns out that we are all stuck with software that will no longer be supported. Period. So, if you don´t agree to buy the upgrade -worth at the very least almost $500- you are left on your own. Needless to say, I am fuming. After I spent more than $1000 for the i1 setup, now I am told this. Bye, bye, X-Rite. Never again. This is no way to treat your customers.
